White Sox parade and plans for the weekend
Today we had the White Sox parade down LaSalle Street and a little rally for them! It was QUITE exciting!! TIC and I were outside with half of Chicago, cheering, and me taking hundreds of pictures. And all the excitement was tangible, you could almost cut it with a knife. And it was catching, too. I was a bit excited to go to the parade and hoped I'd get some good photos, but by the time the players came down in their buses, I was loving them, loving Chicago, loving team spirit, loving fall weather, loving blue skies, loving sunshine, loving confetti, and loving everything else that may have come into my mind as well! It was so much fun!!! 
It's almost 6 and I'm still at work, cause of course I can't type anything at home, and I spent the afternoon going through all my pictures and making an online album - and I'll post the link here, too, in case anyone wants to see all the pictures I took today!
Tonight I have no plans. Tomorrow night Violet and Uganda are having a Halloween party and it sounds like fun! I still haven't completely decided whether I'll go, because everyone else will of course be drinking. But most everyone just drinks some, it won't be a boozing party or anything. And Tivo and her husband are going, and of course Violet and Uganda will be there, and I love all of them! So I think I'm going to try to go. And realistically, if I don't go that will mean that I'll sit on my ass and do nothing, and feel like a loser and quite lonely as a result. So I'll go!
I'll be reusing my costume from last year - a beer wench-type outfit, very cute and a bit sexy as well :) Tonight I'll pull it out cause I'll have to re-pin the lacy edge onto the short skirt, and also put tape around parts of the skirt that can be very itchy. And I have to make sure I still have my black ribbon to tie around my neck in a little bow! Now I'm getting excited!!! So Violet, if you're reading this, I'm coming!!!
This weekend I'm going to finish writing a couple things that I want to post on here! And I'll also clean tomorrow. And it's going to be fabulous weather, so I'll go out for a long walk along the lake! Sounds good and like a tentative plan!!!
